1. The service

TurboConvert provides free online tools to convert, compress and edit files. The tools run in your web browser: files are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Using the website means you accept these terms.

2. Free use

The tools are free for personal and professional use, without an account. We may change, add or remove tools at any time.

3. Your files and your responsibility

You keep all rights to your files. Because we never receive them, we cannot see, recover or delete them for you. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to convert and use the files you process — for example, only remove the password from a PDF you are entitled to open.

You agree not to use TurboConvert for unlawful purposes, to infringe others’ rights, or to disrupt the website (for example by automated mass requests to its pages).

4. No warranty

We do our best to produce accurate conversions, and each tool lists its known limitations. However, the service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Always check important documents after converting them and keep your originals.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TurboConvert is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or loss of profit resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Intellectual property

The website’s design, texts and code (excluding the open-source components listed on the About page, which remain under their own licenses) belong to TurboConvert.

The site may show advertising and links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after an attempt to resolve it amicably, the competent French courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
